The Lehigh Valley Health Network has a serious problem. It, and its Child Advocacy Center, have been falsely accusing innocent parents of abusing their children, tearing apart families.
The baseless allegations against the parents are usually (1) medical child abuse (faking a child’s illness), or (2) physical abuse when the child had a legitimate accident or medical condition.
Not only does this result in children being horrifically separated from their parents, but when LVHN stops the child’s medication, serious medical harm can follow. In these cases, LVHN knew early on that the accusations against the parents were baseless, but intentionally ignored treating experts and evidence which indicated there was no abuse, instead letting unqualified and unspecialized doctors make diagnoses.
